2. Data we process
Depending on how you use Quartiverse, we may process app and device identifiers, technical and diagnostic data, gameplay and collection activity, online-play information, language and region settings, purchase or subscription status supplied by an app store, and the choices you make about optional features. If you contact us, we process your contact details, message and related correspondence.
3. Why we process data
We use data to provide and secure the app and website, enable online features, save and synchronise progress, complete requested transactions, respond to support messages, prevent misuse, diagnose faults, understand and improve performance, and present communications or advertising where permitted. Our legal bases depend on the context and may include performing a contract, complying with law, our legitimate interests and your consent.
4. Online and offline play
Quartiverse supports online and offline play. Offline actions can remain on your device until a feature requires a connection or synchronisation. Online play, cloud features, support, store services and other connected functions require data to be transmitted to the systems involved in providing them.
5. Website, cookies, analytics and advertising
Our hosting systems process technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested page, response status and browser information to deliver and protect the website. A strictly necessary first-party cookie stores your privacy choices for up to 180 days.
Only with your analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 processes a pseudonymous browser identifier, session and page information, approximate region, device and browser characteristics, and selected website interactions so we can understand and improve the website. The lawful basis for this optional processing is consent. Google Analytics is not loaded and no data is sent to Google before that consent. Google signals, advertising personalisation, website-search capture and form-interaction measurement are disabled in this configuration. 6. Service providers and platforms
For consented website analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. We also use service providers that support hosting, cloud operations, security, communications and customer support, as well as Apple, Google or another platform involved in distributing the app or processing a transaction. These recipients process data under applicable contractual and legal safeguards or under their own terms where they act independently.
7. Retention and international transfers
The Google Analytics cookies used by this website are configured for a maximum lifetime of 180 days. User-level and event-level Analytics data is retained for two months, without resetting that period on new activity; standard aggregated reports may be retained for longer under Google’s product design. We retain other personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including security, dispute resolution and legal obligations.
Google and other providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on applicable contractual terms and recognised transfer safeguards. You may request information about relevant safeguards by contacting privacy@quartiverse.com.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, or to appeal a decision about your request. We apply the age and parental-consent requirements that govern the services in the place where they are offered. If you believe a child has provided personal data in a way that does not meet those requirements, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We use organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data. No system is completely secure. We may update this notice as Quartiverse, our technology or applicable law changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
